01

From boat to leaf

Stallholders draw directly from the morning's catch. Expect tilapia, croaker, periwinkle, river crab and smoked bonga, served on banana leaves with pepper sauce and palm oil.

02

Open-fire kitchens

A line of open-fire kitchens runs along the Koko waterfront, with cooks from across the Delta preparing regional specialities throughout the day.

03

Hours

Stalls open from 8 AM. The night market kicks in after sunset, with lanterns, drumming and informal performance until midnight.
